Does Consistency Lead to Burn Out?

There is a lot that can lead to burning out. I think it is all centered around not being aware of yourself and listening to your body.

Why am I putting extra pressure on myself?

Why am I avoiding things that make me feel joy?

Can I give any more energy to today?

These are a few questions that you can ask yourself throughout the day to notice your intentions behind what is making you feel stress.

If you can work towards identifying the pattern that leads you to a path of burnout, you may be able to mitigate the long-term effects of stress.

It starts with knowing your habits that signal when you are burnout.

  • Have you been over-stretching yourself?

  • Is there any tension in your body?

  • Are you pressuring yourself to do it anyway?

  • Are you neglecting any routine things that you do that usually bring you joy?

Once you identify you are on the path of burnout, you begin to put systems in place to create habits that will help you avoid burnout.

Ways to Help Avoid Burnout:

  1. Brain dump and plan your week.

  2. Work toward finding your ideal schedule.

  3. Ask for help when you need it.

  4. Take frequent breaks throughout the day.

  5. Incorporate things that bring you joy during the day.
